In this course we will learn about Business Analytics, its importance, characteristics and phases to efficiently develop a project in a Big Data environment. 

Data alone does not tell us much and if we add to this the Big Data variable (massive data of different types), obtaining knowledge becomes a complex task. Business Analytics is a methodology that allows us to integrate, order and obtain knowledge from data. 

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to gain knowledge of their big data by learning how to deploy a Business Analytics project.

What will I learn?

You will learn that there is no paradise without Business Analytics. Big Data allows you to store large volumes of data of different types and formats, but how do you relate this data to find patterns and solutions? The answer lies in Business Analytics. 

In this course you will learn not only the phases of a project, but also its activities. Business Analytics can be applied to any technological environment, so we will focus on Big Data. Also, we support agile methodologies that today are vital for an efficient development.

Jumled Leon

Big Data Architect Senior

Systems Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería with more than 12 years of experience implementing Business Analytics solutions. He is a member of the Big Data Center of Excellence of Banco de Crédito BCP where he has led Business Analytics, Governance and Data Quality projects in environments and with Big Data technology. He has participated in the implementation of the first Data Lake in Peru and today he is working on Real Time projects in Big Data.

He has developed Business Analytics projects in technological platforms such as Data Warehouse, Teradata, Big Data, among others, ensuring data quality and improving decision making. 

He has a master's degree in Data Management and Strategic Innovation from the University of Barcelona, Spain; in addition, he has 2 specializations: Cloud Computing from the Univ. of Maryland, USA; and Big Data from the Univ. of San Diego, USA.
