As a typical Taurus, I have always valued safe paths, even if they take longer. But sometimes I have left the road to venture into terrain that was unknown to me.

Having just finished my law studies, I decided to get off the train to explore the path of acting. Later, already established as an actor and living for more than a decade outside the country, I accepted the unexpected invitation to return to Peru to participate in politics. Getting off the beaten path can be anxiety provoking. But it also has its rewards.

The journey becomes discovery again-and part of the discovery can be oneself.
