In this course, you will learn how to apply and manage the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology in public entities in Peru. With the increasing pressure from LATAM governments to adopt BIM in infrastructure projects, the demand for trained professionals in this area is increasing. In the coming years, the application of these skills will be mandatory by law, so the application of BIM in public entities is becoming a priority and professionals with these skills are increasingly required. 

 

The course is divided into 8 modules where we will start studying the entire regulatory framework governing the application of BIM in the public sector, likewise, we will study the national BIM guide of Peru and analyze its main chapters such as standards and BIM information management. Once these concepts are clear we will develop step by step the BIM documents such as OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR, TIDP, MIDP key for a correct management and finally understand the process that is followed for a BIM management from the point of view of the public sector, in that sense you will learn and be able to manage the activities of the process of information management and its relationship with the different phases of the investment cycle of a public project.

 

This course is theoretical from beginning to end. The theoretical concepts will be put into practice through real case examples. In this way, it is a very comfortable, entertaining and rewarding course, so you will see it instinctively in the result of your learning. 

What will I learn?

You will learn to understand the regulatory frameworks and national guidelines that exist for BIM adoption, understand information management processes, develop BIM documents (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR, TIDP, MIDP), understand the activities of the information management process and its relationship with the different phases of the investment cycle of a public project.

Requirements

  • Previous knowledge of BIM methodology

  • Experience in the public sector (Desirable)

  • To have taken the course on Information Management when using BIM according to ISO 19650 (Desirable).
