Finance talks about proper money management over time to avoid losses, analyze interest rates against a loan, as well as organize our income and expenses with the probability that in the future someone will want to invest in the project.
Discover with us the various concepts related to finance. In our Specialization, we will guide you in decision making, understanding the basic concepts of finance up to the explanation of financial formulas.

You will learn key terms in accounting, taxes, payment vouchers, classic accounting entries and financial statements.
You will learn to interrelate the main concepts to optimize liquidity management and learn about banking products.
You will learn how to prepare financial statements, as well as the Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Shareholders' Equity and Statement of Cash Flows.
You will learn to manage the dynamics of financial markets, the functioning of the financial system and its main risks.
You will learn to differentiate between types of credit, profitability, credit risk and some measurement tools to avoid financial risks.
You will learn to differentiate market types, market risk and market risk management models, as well as understand what value at risk is and how to calculate VaR.
You will learn to identify and recognize the exposure to the main financial risks, the tools to measure financial risks and some instruments to avoid their mitigation.
You will learn about the total cost of financing an investment project through the most commonly used methodology, the assembly of an economic and financial cash flow on which the project evaluation will be performed.
You will learn to identify the main characteristics of investment projects, understand the investor's opportunity cost, the effective cost of debt, financing and the main indicators to evaluate an investment project.
You will learn some general guidelines to start trading in the foreign exchange market, i.e. the first steps to invest in foreign businesses.
Course evaluation: each course requires passing an exam.
- The exam is a 10-question multiple-choice quiz, which lasts 15 minutes. A minimum of 70% of correct answers is required to pass (2 attempts every 24 hours).
- Each course will have a learning project (not mandatory).
- Evaluation of the Specialization: by passing all the exams of each course. There is an integrative project (not mandatory).
